Ask it for the day's slate, park factors, a player's projected line, a batter-versus-pitcher matchup, or what the model thinks a prop is really worth. It answers in the channel a second or two later, and every reply links back to the full breakdown on BallparkPal.com.

Discord bots work through what are called slash commands. It's easier than it sounds. Here's the whole process:

Click the message box Go to any channel in the Just Baseball server and click where you'd normally type a message.

Type a forward slash The moment you type / a menu of commands pops up above the message box.

Keep typing to narrow it down Typing /park brings up the park factors command. Click it in the menu, or press Tab.

Fill in the options Some commands ask for a player, a team, or a stat. Each option appears as its own little box. Click a box, start typing, and pick from the list that appears. Three or four letters of a player's name is usually enough.

Press Enter The bot posts its answer right in the channel where everyone can see it.
The commands
Every game on the schedule ranked by projected total runs, highest first. A quick read on where the offense is expected to be.
The model's full card for one game: projected runs and win odds for both sides, the starting pitchers with their projected innings and strikeouts, and the park factors. Ask for it by team, so /game team: NYY gets you the Yankees game.
The day's schedule with start times. The simplest command of the bunch.
Run and home run factors for every park on the slate, weather included, sorted from most to least hitter-friendly.
Any hitter against any pitcher, whether they face each other tonight or never have. You get a matchup grade from -10 to +10 plus hit, homer, walk, and strikeout probabilities for that exact pairing.
A player's projected line for that day's game. Batters get plate appearances, hits, homers, total bases and more. Pitchers get innings, strikeouts, and win and quality start odds. Fantasy points for both.
Top-10 boards for 22 different stats. Who's most likely to homer today, steal a base, or throw a quality start. There are team boards (win, score 8+, hit 3+ homers) and full-game boards too, like which game is most likely to see a first-inning run. Add a team to filter the list.
What the model thinks a prop is actually worth. Pick a player and a market and you get the probability and fair odds for each line. Fifteen markets, from batter homers to pitcher outs. These are model prices, not sportsbook prices, and that's the point: compare them to your book.
The ten highest projected fantasy scorers on the slate. Batters by default, or pick pitchers. DraftKings scoring by default, or pick FanDuel.
A quick example
Here's what running /matchup for Aaron Judge against Tarik Skubal looks like.
Type /matchup and click it in the menu. Click the batter box, type jud, and pick Aaron Judge from the list. Click the pitcher box, type sku, and pick Tarik Skubal. Press Enter.
The bot posts the matchup grade along with Judge's chances of a hit, a homer, a walk, and a strikeout against Skubal specifically.
Common questions
Do I need a Ballpark Pal subscription?
No. The bot is free to everyone in the Just Baseball Discord. If a reply makes you want to dig deeper, the links in it go to the full pages on BallparkPal.com.
Where do the numbers come from?
The same simulation engine that powers everything on BallparkPal.com. Each slate gets simulated with that day's lineups, pitchers, park, and weather, and the bot reads from those results.
It says there's no data for tomorrow.
Tomorrow's numbers appear once the next slate has been simulated, so asking too early can come up empty. Today is always available.
It says a player isn't in the projected lineup.
Daily projections cover players expected to play that day. A bench bat or a reliever won't always have a card. /matchup works for anyone, though, since it doesn't depend on who's starting.
Can I message the bot directly?
No, it only works inside the Just Baseball server. Commands and replies are posted in the channel where everyone can see them.
