Ballpark Pal Notes

Opening Week is Here!

Baseball is Back!

If you checked in on the site in the past month or so, you’ve already seen the foundation for the 2026 version of Ballpark Pal. Since then, things have moved much closer to the finish line.

At this point, the site is about 95% ready for Opening Night on Wednesday. Most features are live and fully functional, with just a handful of final tweaks and additions being wrapped up over the next couple of days.

As games begin and data sources come online, you’ll also notice pages continuing to fill out naturally throughout the week - including DFS salaries, contest slates, betting odds, and other daily inputs that weren’t available earlier. If something looks sparse early on, there’s a good chance it’s simply waiting on fresh data.

What's Ready for Opening Week

The full 2026 experience is essentially in place now, and you should be able to move through the site without many limitations.

Since the last update, there have been a number of meaningful additions and refinements, including:

  • A refreshed look, more books to choose from, and expanded functionality on the Odds Screen
  • Updates to to the Matchups page
  • Expanded Daily Fantasy projections, including more dedicated views and data points
  • Additional tooltips and explainers across the site to help make newer metrics and outputs easier to understand

The core of the platform remains the same - game simulations driving projections across teams, players, and outcomes - but there’s a lot more depth and flexibility layered on top this year.

If you’ve used Ballpark Pal before, it should feel familiar, just with more ways to explore the data. If you’re new, this is a much better entry point than where things stood a month ago.

Login, Personalization & Subscriptions

Ballpark Pal is now running on a native, on-site login system.

You’ll need to create a new account for the 2026 season, even if you were subscribed last year. Previous credentials and subscriptions do not carry over.

Once you’re in, the new My Preferences page allows you to customize how data is displayed across the site - including formats, views, and certain defaults. This is optional, but it’s there if you want more control over how you interact with everything.

Pricing remains unchanged from previous years:

  • $10 per month
  • $60 for the full season (one-time payment)

Billing and support are handled through Whop, but everything is still completed directly on Ballpark Pal.

Access During Opening Week

The site will remain fully open and free to use through the first week of the regular season.

Starting April 1st, most content will require an active subscription.

Subscribing now will allow you to take advantage of the "My Preferences" feature. But otherwise, there’s no urgency to sign up before then - feel free to explore everything during Opening Week and decide if it’s a fit for you.

Final Notes

If you haven’t spent much time on the site yet, Opening Week is the ideal window to get familiar with everything.

If you run into questions, you may want to check out the FAQ page, which is updated for this season and contains answers to many of the common questions from early on. You can also reach out directly at BallparkPal.site@gmail.com.

Looking forward to the season! Let's have a great year.

An (Early) Welcome to the 2026 Season

It's still only February, but lots of questions are already coming in about the upcoming year.

As usual, it’s been a pretty quiet offseason out on X/Twitter, but behind the scenes the work hasn’t slowed down. As of today, the 2026 version of Ballpark Pal is live. There are a number of upgrades already in place, with a few final pieces still coming together as we approach Opening Night.

Below is a quick overview of where things stand.

What’s Live Right Now

You can explore the 2026 site starting today.

Since there aren’t Spring Training sims or projections, the full daily experience won’t be available until we’re closer to Opening Night. That means:

  • Some pages may be empty
  • Some features may not function exactly as intended yet
  • Some new stuff still hasn't been released

That said, you'll already notice upgrades across the site - including:

  • Player pages
  • Game pages
  • Park pages
  • The Matchup Machine

In addition to adding lots of new features, a major focus this offseason was improving site navigation. The goal was to make everything more intuitive and easier to move through, especially as the platform continues to grow. I’m hoping that difference is noticeable right away.

New Login & Personalization

If you were here last season, the login and subscription process will look different.

Ballpark Pal is moving to a native, on-site login system for 2026. This allows for a more tailored experience and opens the door to better personalization.

A new “My Preferences” page is getting introduced this year, which (if you choose) lets you control how certain data is presented to you. The idea is simple: give you more control over how you want to use the tools.

The login experience itself should also feel smoother and more straightforward.

Billing, Subscriptions & Access

Pricing remains the same:

  • $10 per month
  • $60 for the full season (one-time payment, and saves you a bit over the course of the year)

This season, Ballpark Pal will use Whop for billing and support. You’ll still complete everything directly through the Ballpark Pal site - no need to leave the platform.

Important note: Login credentials and subscriptions from last season will not carry over. Everyone will need to create a new account and subscribe again for 2026.

The entire site will be freely accessible through the first week of the season. Beginning April 1st, most content will require an active subscription.

You’re welcome to sign up now, but there’s no need to until then.

What’s Coming Before Opening Day

Between now and Opening Day, I’ll be continuing to refine features and add more informational content, including:

  • Tooltips
  • Explanations
  • Glossary entries
  • FAQ content
  • Hopefully some videos

With the amount of new functionality this season, making sure everything is clearly explained is a priority.

More updates to come soon.
