Park Factors

Monday features a top-heavy slate of park factors with Coors Field and Fenway Park rated the clear top venues for offense.

It's going to be a dry 95° in Denver for Blue Jays / Rockies with 10-20 mph wind blowing out to center. The wind isn't particularly important at Coors as even double-digit speeds don't tend to be impactful. The hot temps and low pressure are good for carry, while the very low humidity on Monday is worse. Overall, it's a slightly positive weather effect for MLB's top run-producing venue.

Hitter-friendly Fenway Park gets a boost from the weather on Monday with temps above 80° to start the game and 10 mph wind blowing out to left-center. High fly balls are more likely to clear the shallow, tall fences in that direction when the wind is blowing out.

Higher air pressure is working in favor of pitchers for much of the slate on Monday, including Wrigley Field where the wind is also blowing in from right field. Even though it's only 9 mph, single-digit speeds are still impactful at Wrigley.

Citi Field joins Wrigley at the bottom of the slate on Monday, rating neutral for homers and negative for runs. The main reasons Citi typically favors pitchers is because it's one of the worst parks for batter contact and hits inside the yard - particularly doubles.
