Sunday afternoon will feature temps ranging from low 70s to high 90s across the slate (with typical high 50s expected in SF). Some of the best hitting weather is in Kansas City where it will be in the 90s with 10 mph wind blowing out to left field. Kauffman Stadium is still rated on the pitcher's side of neutral for home runs due to the huge outfield, but it's a good venue for runs and in-play hits on Sunday.
Fenway Park rivals Kansas City for best hitting weather on Sunday as it will be around 80° in Boston with 10 mph wind pointing out toward right-center. Fenway is receptive to wind and the deep right field fence will be a bit more accessible this afternoon.
The slate kicks off in Washington D.C. this morning where it will be around 90° for the 11:35 AM start. Nationals Park can be good for both home runs and hits inside the yard when the weather is good, owing in part to a shallow center field (homers) and deep corners (singles and doubles).
Bowman Field in Williamsport, PA is the setting for tonight's Little League Classic between the Mariners and Mets. It will be the eighth installment of the series which began in 2017. In its limited sample of hosting MLB games,
Bowman Field has been stingy for offense with averages of 7.1 runs and 1.6 homers per game over the seven games in the series. The field is uneven with a deeper right side and tall 12 foot fence stretching across most of the outfield perimeter. It will be in the 70s with moderate wind blowing in from left this evening.
The wind is expected to blow in from center at Wrigley Field today. Although its just single digits, the direction is important at Wrigley which is highly receptive to wind.
