Slightly cooler weather continues into Tuesday with most games expecting temps in the 70s and one venue (Boston) in the 60s. Among the main exceptions is Coors Field, which will start at around 90° for Dodgers / Rockies this evening. The high-altitude venue is rated the top environment for both runs and homers on Tuesday.
The best hitting weather is in Minnesota where the Athletics and Twins will enjoy temps in the 80s with light wind blowing out to center. Target Field can be a balanced hitter-friendly park when it's warm out, with the left side rating positive for homers and tall right field wall primed for doubles.
10 mph wind is blowing in at Wrigley Field for Tuesday's doubleheader between the Brewers and Cubs. The open-air venue is rated one of the toughest on the slate for hitters due to how receptive the park is to in-blowing wind.
The 80° temps in Tampa will be counteracted by in-blowing wind on Tuesday. Although it's only single digit speeds, the direction is important as Steinbrenner Field has joined Wrigley and Sutter Health as one of the most wind-receptive parks in MLB. The minor league venue is still rated positive for homers today due to the warm temps and short porch in right.
