Park Factors

Mild weather is expected across the slate on Monday with most games in the 70s. The exceptions are Oracle Park where it will be close to its usual 60° mark and Progressive Field where it will be in the high 60s.

Sacramento is the clear top venue for offense this evening where the typical out-blowing wind will blow at 10-15 mph. This is the normal forecast at Sutter Health Park which has been a top home run venue this year due largely to how receptive it is to the usual out-blowing wind.

Speaking of consistent forecasts, the two Los Angeles venues are the next best parks for offense on Monday. The wind always blows out at Angel Stadium and Dodger Stadium and it's usually in the 70s as well. The out-blowing forecast for Oracle Park is normal too, but isn't indicative of how the wind behaves on the field. The Bay Area venue is a bottom-five park for home runs each year.

The most pitcher-friendly environment on Monday is in Cleveland where the high 60s will be paired with high air pressure and 10 mph wind blowing in from right field. Progressive Field is receptive to wind and the high pressure is another factor that reduces fly ball distance.

Update: The roof at Globe Life Field will be open this evening.
