Hitting conditions will favor pitchers again for Day 2 of the Wild Card round. More in-blowing wind is expected for 3 out of 4 games with Dodger Stadium getting its typical breeze out toward left-center. Temperatures will be around 70° at start time across the slate with Red Sox / Yankees dipping into the low 60s in the later innings.
The in-blowing wind is an important factor at both Cleveland and Chicago this afternoon as both venues are receptive to wind. Wrigley Field is more receptive than Progressive but it will blow several ticks faster for Tigers / Guardians (around 15 mph).
Despite the pitcher-friendly weather, there are still a few good home run spots from this set of venues - including Yankee Stadium's short porch in right, Wrigley's shallow left field fence, and the highly reachable center field in L.A.. Of course these spots are offset by deeper areas of the field at each respective park.

A 19-foot fence guards most of the outfield's left side while the shorter right-field fence leaves that half vulnerable to home runs. | -0.35 | +0.02 | +0.24 | -0.37

Out-blowing wind tends to correlate with warmer temperatures, and vice versa. The Corners are very deep and guarded by 16-foot-tall-fences. An extremely shallow porch in left-center makes for a cheap home run target. | -0.23 | +0.08 | -0.45 | -0.56

The short porch is balanced out by a larger-than-average left field, though still very short to the foul pole on that side. | -0.26 | -0.67 | -0.43 | -1.34 |
