Park Factors

Some of MLB's top home run parks are back on the slate to start the week, along with generally good hitting conditions. Sutter Health Park presents the best environment for both runs and homers on Monday. It will be 90° at start for Rays / Athletics with the usual double-digit wind blowing out to left-center. The minor league venue in Sacramento has been a top park for offense this year due in large part to how receptive it is to out-blowing wind.

The small outfield at Rate Field will be more vulnerable to home runs this evening with 80° and moderate wind blowing out to left field. Similar conditions are expected in Kansas City. While the deep dimensions prevent Kauffman Stadium from rating positive for homers this evening, it's set up well for offense via hits inside the yard.

It will be in the 90s in Cincinnati on Monday for Phillies / Reds. The normally elite home run venue Great American Ball Park hasn't played as such this year, and was downgraded by the model as a result. It's still rated well for home runs this evening despite the (rare) mid-season adjustment.
