More cool September weather is in store for Friday with about half of the outdoor games expecting temperatures below 70°. In many cases the cooler temps will be paired with high air pressure - another factor which reduces fly ball distance.

Sutter Health Park stands out from the rest of the slate on Friday with its usual hitter-friendly forecast. It will be 80° at start time in Sacramento with double-digit wind blowing out to center. The minor league venue has been one of the top parks for home runs this season due largely to how impactful the typical out-blowing wind has been.

The small outfield at Citizens Bank Park is rated next best for home runs on Friday. The overall weather effect is fairly neutral for Royals / Phillies with the high pressure counteracting the combo of mid 70s and light wind blowing out.

The roof is expected to be open for Cardinals / Brewers despite temps in the mid-to-low 60s. American Family Field tries to keep the roof open as much as possible, but they could close it with temperatures bordering on 60°. A closed roof would benefit hitters in this case.
