Especially hot weather is in store for Monday with 90° and higher expected for about half of the outdoor games on the slate. The best hitting conditions are in Sacramento where the hot temperatures are paired with double-digit wind pointed out toward left-center (its typical direction). The minor league Sutter Health Park has been highly receptive to wind this season, which is a main reason it's produced so many home runs.
The only other real significant wind on the slate is in Kansas City where it will blow out at moderate speeds for Braves / Royals. Given the warm temps as well, Kauffman Stadium is rated positive for offense on Monday, although still on the pitcher's side of neutral for homers due to the huge outfield.
Great American Ball Park tops the slate for home run environment on Monday where the 90° temps make the small outfield more vulnerable to home runs than it usually is.
It will be in the typical high 50s in San Francisco for Pirates / Giants this evening. As usual, the out-blowing wind can be ignored as the forecast doesn't translate to the field as expected at Oracle.
